Speech Language Pathologist Job Description:

Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders. Assessing patient needs, evaluating, developing effective treatment plans, and modifying care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.

Duties:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Proficient in conducting assessments and evaluations
• Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and interventions
