Speech-language pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and provide counselling and rehabilitation for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Job Description
Provide life-changing treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. You’ll help people who, for physical or psychological reasons, have problems speaking and communicating.
Patients may be able to perform other activities but need speech therapy. Part of your responsibilities may be to educate staff on the value of speech therapy.

License or Certification:

Must be in possession of current SLPA certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License

Education, Training and Experience:

Minimum requirement: Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Experience is preferred but not required.
