Category Schools – SLP – Telespeech Job Type Contract To Hire Position Overview We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual services to K-12 students across Alabama. This fully remote position allows you to make a real difference—all from the comfort of your home. Using our innovative teletherapy platform, you’ll deliver impactful speech services and collaborate with families, educators, and school staff to help students reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom. Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations to assess student needs. Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals. Provide engaging online therapy sessions in both individual and group formats. Partner with parents, teachers, and support teams to ensure student growth. Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and update therapy plans as necessary. Participate in IEP meetings, offering clinical insights and professional input. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Alabama SLP license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Preferred:
Two or more years of experience working in school settings. Proficient with technology and comfortable delivering therapy virtually. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Technology Requirements Reliable, high-speed internet access. Desktop or laptop computer (note: tablets and Chromebooks are not supported). Must pass a brief tech screening to confirm platform compatibility.
