Job Description
Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract role spans the school year and is based in New London, CT.
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12 Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress Document sessions and maintain accurate records according to state and district guidelines Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize student outcomes
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification with CCC credential Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills
