Practice Overview Hetherington Therapy is the leading locally/therapist owned company in the region that provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy in homes, schools, PPEC facilities with medical fragile children. Currently looking for full-time therapists to fill the need for our Homecare & Clinic settings. If you are passionate about the future and growth of the next generation, then we want to speak with you! What You’ll Be Working On

  • Complete initial and regular patient assessment and reassessment in a timely manner
  • Develop individualized plans of care based upon evaluation and reassessment
  • Work with children/youth on the Autism Spectrum as well as a variety of other complex diagnoses
  • Educate patients and family members, keep detailed records relating to patient conditions through a customizable cloud based EMR system
  • Assess patients regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals, modify plans as needed
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvement
  • Promote a positive work environment, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on patient care
  • Support with developing documentation, evaluations, and processes for the SLP wing of the business You will receive exceptional mentorship and communication with your Speech Language Pathologist-CCC. Qualifications
  • Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required
  • Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Florida for Speech Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellowship in SLP required
  • Experience working with children required
  • Experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience as a SLP preferred
  • Experience with feeding and swallowing preferred
  • Experience working in a home health setting a plus
  • Ability to independently treat patients by developing and following an established therapy plan of care
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with patients
  • Self-starter with a strong level of accountability and creativity What’s In It For You

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay:

$75,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
