Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team.
You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, communication, and feeding or swallowing disorders. This role supports children and families in reaching communication and developmental goals in a nurturing clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations using standardized tools
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapy for conditions such as speech delays, articulation disorders, language disorders, apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, and feeding challenges
Educate and support families with home programs and strategies
Accurately document sessions, evaluations, and progress
Collaborate with occupational therapists, behavioral specialists, and other providers
Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if applicable
Maintain compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA, and licensure standards
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Florida SLP license
CCC from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship in progress
2 or more years of pediatric clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of pediatric diagnoses and family-centered practices
Preferred Skills
Experience with early intervention and play-based therapy
Training in
PROMPT, SOS
Feeding, Hanen, PECS, or AAC systems
Bilingual is a plus
Work Environment
Pediatric outpatient clinic setting
Includes floor play, parent coaching, and hands-on activities
May involve occasional lifting or physical support of young children
