o Experience andtraining in diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of articulation,expressive and receptive language, fluency, and voice.o Workingknowledge of strategies and accommodations to support students ininclusion settings.o Ability to collaborate positively with generaleducation and special education staff, parents and administrators.oExperience with a variety of diagnostic instruments appropriate forstudents.o Skill and experience working with students who useaugmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices.oExperience in writing Individual Education Programs (IEP),including working knowledge of social and behavioral languagegoals, specific task analysis skills, and ability to writemeasurable annual goals and objectives.o Participate as aneffective member of the IEP team.o Completion and maintenance ofCCCs in SLP is preferred.o Working knowledge of state and federalregulations for disabled studentsLicense – Education –
