Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Pensacola, FL, for a full-time maternity leave contract covering the fall 2025 semester. August 1, 2025, through November 2025, with anticipated coverage starting around August 11, 2025 Full-time (40 hours per week) Two positions available: One at an elementary school (in-person) One itinerant role serving secondary schools
Caseloads:
Approximately 60-65 students per SLP Schedule includes designated time for paperwork and documentation No additional duties such as bus or car rider duty assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working in K-12 school settings Ability to manage a caseload of 60-65 students effectively Strong organizational skills to handle documentation and paperwork within the workweek Willingness to start early for shadowing and caseload familiarization preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a school environment Flexibility to work in an itinerant capacity for the secondary role
Responsibilities:
