Schedule:

The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centeredcare by developing and conducting individualized therapy programsfor patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowingimpairments. As a member of the health care team, the SpeechTherapist performs comprehensive patient assessments andestablishes appropriate treatment goals. The Speech Therapistserves as an educator to patients, families, students andcolleagues.
What you will do in this role: You will conduct a subjective assessment of assigned patient’sspeech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. You willadminister objective tests to assess patient’s communication assetsand liabilities. You will structure and implement individualized patient programto improve communication abilities. You will evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjustprogram as needed to maximize patient progress. You will document progress in patient’s chart. You willcomplete notes, charges, discharge notes and patientcommunication. You will consult with Program Director and RehabPhysician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments andphysician consultations to determine appropriate placement ofpotential patients.
What qualifications you will need:
