Speech Language Pathologist for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder 25-26 The Learning Center 400 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 TLC is seeking qualified Speech and Language Pathologists to make a positive difference in the lives of students with autism spectrum disorder. We are open to hiring Speech Language Pathologist assistants (SLPa”s), however the pay range will vary. Speech Language Pathologist General Summary:
Responsible for the development and implementation of all students’ speech and language goals on Individual Education Plans in collaboration with the classroom teacher. The speech and language pathologist is expected to complete assessments and evaluations, as well as set up, maintain, train and implement augmentative communication.
Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:
Master’s Degree M.A or M.S. in speech language pathology through accredited university, CFY-SLP, CCC-SLP, State License from the Department of Health. Minimum 1 year experience preferred. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to develop tailored speech therapy goals Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and social interactions. Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. Provide early intervention services and support to enhance language development. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in accordance with professional standards.
