Job Description
Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract A full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school located in Milton, FL. This role involves sharing the caseload with three other SLPs, serving students five days a week during the school year. Typical work hours are 6:45 AM to 2:15 PM, offering a consistent schedule ideal for professionals seeking a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other SLPs to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred). Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
