Job Description

Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a part-time position in a K-12 school setting located in Sarasota, FL. This role is focused on providing on-site support to students for the 2025-2026 school year, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working with K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Proficiency in both evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders

Location:
Sarasota, Florida Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech and language needs. Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established IEPs.
