ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working to prevent, assess,diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication,cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
Providesaural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard ofhearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication(AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/orlanguage comprehension disorders.
Other duties asassigned.
QualificationsRequirementsCurrent, unencumbered license topractice speech pathology specific to that state you are assignedto work.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence inSpeech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at a college or university whoseprogram is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation inAudiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).Current CPRcertification.
PreferredOne (1+) year of experience in speechpathology.

SLP – CCC
certification has not beenobtained the candidate must be put into the SLP Clinical Fellow(100910) job. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) is the transition betweenstudent and independent which involves an SLP supervisor, hourrequirements and mentoring.
