Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will optimize communication,cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of residentsby providing, directing, and/or overseeing a strong Speech LanguagePathology, SLP therapy program. Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will build a program toprevent, assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat any disorders thatthe resident has been diagnosed with that effect speech, language,social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowingdisorders in adults. Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will provide training andeducate the resident and their loved ones on the programs Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will Provide quality patientcare including screening and evaluation of patients, development ofinitial and ongoing treatment plans of care, discharge plan, andcase management responsibilities.

Requirements:

Must hold appropriate professional license in NY in goodstanding Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding SLPtherapy Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/Nursing Home ExperienceRequired An SLP/CCC or SLP/CFY (Required) Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, ∁assionate care Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring & enthusiasm tocreate an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & optimal residenthealth Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled,elderly, emotionally upset, & sometimes challenging residents Have excellent communication, customer service, & organizationskills Able to work well under pressure & willing to work harmoniouslywith all staff Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but
