Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract In a supportive educational environment, professionals are sought to deliver specialized speech-language pathology services to K-12 students. This role focuses on addressing the diverse communication needs of children, fostering their development and academic success through tailored interventions.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings. Proficient in teletherapy practices and techniques. Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with assessment tools and therapy strategies in schools.
Location:
Alpharetta, GA Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ overall development. Provide direct therapy services through in-person and teletherapy sessions. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary. Maintain documentation of services provided and student progress in compliance with regulations.
