About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Union General Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to adult populations in a clinical setting. Your primary goal will be to help adults with voice, cognition, swallowing and language difficulties in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
Experience working with adult populations in a clinical setting
Knowledge of adult rehabilitation processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with adults with neurological disorders
Experience working with physical therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
