About the

Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Union General Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to adult populations in a clinical setting. Your primary goal will be to help adults with voice, cognition, swallowing and language difficulties in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
Experience working with adult populations in a clinical setting
Knowledge of adult rehabilitation processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with adults with neurological disorders
Experience working with physical therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify speech and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

As a Speech Therapist, you will use your expertise in speech therapy, to provide high-quality care to our patients. In addition, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with patients and their families. Finally, your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records will be critical in ensuring the success of our therapy programs.
