THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech,Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an excitingopportunity for a Pediatric Feeding Speech Language Pathologist toserve families in Mount Vernon. This position is based in our EastTexas division.
What youll do
- Perform comprehensive Speech Therapyevaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients needsfor therapy
- Use your clinical judgment to develop and implementrelevant treatment plans aligned with physicians orders
- Develophome exercise programs in partnership with patients caregivers
- Actas a vital member of your patients medical neighborhoods,collaborating and coordinating care between various providers anddisciplines
- Complete a minimum number of patient visits on aweekly basis as required by the agency
- Meet deadlines forcompletion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs,and all other paperwork as needed
- Meet with agency personnel asnecessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standardsrelated to delivering high-quality patient care
- Perform all dutiesin compliance with agency policies and procedures
- Adhere to allrules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, stateand local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech languagepathology.
What youll need
- A current/active license to practiceSpeech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
