  • School-Based Opportunity near Westwego, LA We are actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in the Westwego, Louisiana area.

This school-based role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to create an optimal learning environment for students with communication challenges.

Immediate openings for the 2024/2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate students for speech and language disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct speech therapy services to students in various educational settings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress Monitor and document students’ progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and provide input on educational strategies

Qualifications:

Louisiana SLP licensure required Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology SLP certification preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered Previous experience working in school settings is preferred but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
