HealthPro Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity available for a School Speech Language Pathologist in New Orleans, Louisiana for the uing School Year!!!
Full Time SLP for the 2025-2026 School Year
Grades Pk-8th

  • Caseload approximately 40 students
    Experience with disabilities such as Autism, Non-Verbal or have behavioral Issues elated to disabilities, High sensory needs. Must Have AAC experience
    Documentation system is EIS
  • IEPs in eSER + Evals and RTI included
    Will have the opportunity to work ESY during June (dates not yet decided)
    Arrival time 745am
  • Dismissal time 330pm
    Start date: September 2, 2025
  • End date: May 15 2026
  • Will have the opportunity to work ESY during June (dates not yet decided)
  • Pay $48-50 rates DOE, Plus Benefits, 401k, and other options!

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment:

Conductprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.

Treatment and Education:

Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and dailymunication improvement.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuringpliance with legal and ethical standards.

Collaboration:

Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications

Education:

Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Licensure:

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible

Certification:

Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Skills:

Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellentmunication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
