Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Experience working with K-12 students Proficiency in both English and Spanish; additional language skills in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese are highly valued Strong assessment and intervention skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEPs and monitor student progress Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student development and needed services Offer guidance and support to families regarding speech and language concerns and treatment options
