We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multi-disciplinary team at a single school location. Position Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Education Teachers, and other support staff. You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support students’ communication goals. Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals. Educate staff and parents on strategies to support communication development. Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Maine SLP license or eligibility for licensure Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
