Location:
District Speech and Language Pathologist (Grades K – 8) Extended School Year Position Purpose The Speech and Language Pathologist (Extended School Year) for behavioral/social skills program will continue SLP services for students over the summer.
Qualifications Profile Certification/License:
Maine License in Speech Language Pathology required Certification in Speech and Language Pathology from the American Speech and Language Hearing Association required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology required Meet academic and practicum requirements Essential Performance Responsibilities Implement individualized therapy programs designed to maintain current levels of performance and to minimize regression. Facilitate and support the learning of skills and functions essential for communication. As necessary or applicable, supervise students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards. Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Special Services and other administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
