We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Speech Pathologist who’s ready to make a real impact.
At University Health, you’ll work with patients across the lifespan-from newborns to seniors-helping them find their voice, improve cognition, and regain safe swallowing. Every day is different, and every patient presents a new opportunity to change a life.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Evaluating patients and building customized therapy plans Helping patients improve communication, thinking, and swallowing skills Adjusting treatments based on progress and goals Educating patients and families to support success at home Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the full rehab team Documenting clearly and thoroughly Supervising speech students and rehab techs as needed Pitching in on performance improvement projects and department initiatives Keeping your space safe, clean, and organized Leading or contributing to special projects and programs Staying current with professional development and best practices Supporting a culture of safety, quality, and great patient experiences
What You Need:
A degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program A current Missouri Speech Pathologist License Eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year or holds Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA Solid written and verbal communication skills Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ready to Join Us?
