Elementary and Preschool Job Overview:
A school district in Taylorsville is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), either fully credentialed (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF), for the 2025-2026 school year . This full-time, onsite position will serve students across two school sites: one elementary and one preschool . We’re looking for a compassionate and collaborative professional who is committed to supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool and elementary students Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Attend and participate in IEP meetings as part of the special education team Maintain accurate documentation in ECATS and for Medicaid billing Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility by start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) School-based experience preferred but not required Familiarity with ECATS and Medicaid documentation is a plus Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
