Job Description

Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract A professional opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is located in Thomasville, NC, for the full school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs. Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families. Ability to create and implement IEPs and manage documentation efficiently.
