Contract To Hire An exciting opportunity for an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist has emerged for a maternity leave contract. This position is tailored for professionals with a focus on pediatric speech-language needs within a K-12 school setting. The role requires a dedicated practitioner ready to contribute to student success from September 2025 to January 2026.

Location:
Chapel Hill, NC Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech services.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote students’ communication skills.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and stay current in the field.

Qualifications:

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably in a school setting.
Bilingual skills are preferred, enhancing communication with diverse student populations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
