Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergencydepartment sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU HealthRoanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services,including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition,the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referralcenters for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
PositionSummaryResponsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients referred for services andmaintaining records pertinent to such services. Observes, evaluatesand documents diagnostic and treatment effects. Consults withsupervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professionaldevelopment (i.e. research projects, expansion of programs, recordkeeping, policies and procedures, etc.). Will also be involved inteam dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities whenappropriate.
Minimum RequirementsMaster’s degree in Speech LanguagePathology OR Master’s degree in Communication Science and Disordersis required.
Less than three years of licensureCurrent SpeechLanguage Pathology License issued by
NCBOESLPA
isrequired.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech LanguagePathology awarded by ASHA is required, or must be obtained withinone year of hire.
