Responsibilities:
Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions Work with students individually or in small groups to improve communication skills Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents and caregivers Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students’ speech and language needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field State License/certification Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills
