• Requirements Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP orproactively in the process of the application process for currentstate licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.

At least one year of professional working experience Must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CPR certification. Must have CCC’s. The SpeechLanguage Pathologist / SLP will teach patients how to make sounds,improve their voices, or increase their oral or written languageskills to communicate more effectively. Also, the Speech LanguagePathologist / SLP will teach individuals how to strengthen musclesor use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking orinhaling food or liquid. Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions inaccordance with physician orders. Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies careto meet goals of speech therapy interventions. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, orrecover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that thepatient can fulfill their educational, vocational and socialroles.
