Job Description
Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract In this role, you will provide essential speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on the diverse needs of students. Your expertise will help facilitate communication skills and address any challenges that may hinder academic success.
Location:
Richlands, NC Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine student speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide insights on student needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
Qualifications:
Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably in school settings. Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
