Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract Join our innovative educational team as a Remote Speech Language Pathologist, where your expertise will directly impact student success across North Carolina schools. We’re seeking a dedicated professional who excels at building meaningful therapeutic relationships through virtual platforms. Assignment Details This remote position offers 35-37.5 hours per week serving approximately 44-54 students across diverse grade levels from early childhood through high school. You’ll provide specialized interventions for students with articulation challenges, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum communication needs, and voice disorders through our secure teletherapy system. Core Responsibilities Your expertise will guide comprehensive speech and language program delivery including initial evaluations, ongoing therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and IEP team participation. Daily activities involve conducting virtual individual and group sessions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, developing home practice programs, and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and services. Essential Qualifications Successful applicants hold current North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist licensure and maintain active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. A Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is required, supported by at least two years of experience providing services in educational settings. Knowledge of special education processes and virtual therapy best practices is highly valued. Technology Integration This role requires comfort with digital therapy tools and video conferencing platforms. We provide comprehensive training on our teletherapy system, digital assessment tools, and virtual intervention techniques.
