Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary setting in Plymouth, NH, for the upcoming school year. This contract position involves working closely with children to address a range of speech and language needs, fostering their communication skills and ensuring a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Previous experience working with elementary-aged children Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location:
Plymouth, NH, serving two elementary schools in the Vermont area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language impairments Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting IEP goals as necessary Provide direct therapy to a caseload of 10-13 students Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support overall student development Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
