Crotched Mountain School & Village, now a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our outstanding team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of our students. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to gain valuable experience and finalize requirements to become a licensed Speech Language Pathologist!

About Crotched Mountain School:

Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-22, with neurodevelopmental disabilities that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Situated on thousands of acres of preserved habitat, CMS offers a therapeutic environment in which students are encouraged to explore and thrive.

Salary:

$90,000 per year, going to $100,000 after becoming a licensed SLP!

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of our Clinical Director, you’ll assess and treat school-aged children with developmental or acquired disorders. You’ll work with a fantastic multidisciplinary team to provide wraparound care, collaborate with families, and train staff.

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
  • Train and coach staff, ensuring effective implementation of treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and design staff training programs.
  • Maintain confidential records and complete necessary reports.
  • Follow ASHA’s Code of Ethics and stay up-to-date with training and certifications.
  • Promote our organization’s values of respect, kindness, integrity, and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Eligible to sit for Praxis exam and complete licensure requirements after completion of CFY.
  • Experience with AAC systems and therapeutic services in natural environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of human development and communication disorders.
  • Team player with a knack for creative problem-solving.
