Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This role is focused on enhancing communication skills and addressing the diverse needs of students through expert assessment and intervention.

Qualifications:

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to professional development and best practices in therapy

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and parents Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field
