JOB DETAILS
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Concord New Hampshire to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development.
Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will also develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Throughout the course of the school year, they will provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. They will monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The SLP will also provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
