POSTION GOAL
The Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for managing, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive school speech, language and hearing program which should provide a continuum of services to meet the needs of the students.
QAULIFICATIONS
Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology Certification Appropriate NH State License. Certification by the America Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience One to three years of work related experience preferred Criminal Record Check Required per

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide speech-language services to students in accordance with ASHA principals and District policy Administer, interpret and relate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions effectively in accordance with ASHA Scope of Practice, within the guidelines of District policy and procedure Demonstrate knowledge of current literature and incorporate applicable clinical ideas Develop and maintain a high degree of rapport with students, parents and colleagues Ensure treatment programs are clinically appropriate and based on the special education needs of the child Complete all required documentation on at timely bases as indicated by IEP’s Plan effectively and execute daily, weekly and monthly schedule Communicate with Director of Student Services regularly regarding clinical needs, goals and potential conflict situations Demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of the students, department and the District.
