  • Flexible spending and health savings accounts What you will doin this role: Play an important part in helping ourpatient to recover and feel better about themselves by providingtherapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowingabilities Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisorand other team members; assist with patient scheduling and postcharges daily to patient records Document patient care inaccordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accreditingrequirements Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff infollow-through programs Maintain equipment and work area in a safeand clean condition Handle job responsibilities in accordance withthe Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate ComplianceAgreement, appropriate professional standard and applicablestate/federal laws Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Graduate of a master’s level programin Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by EducationStandards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certificationrequirements Meet the education and experience requirements forCertification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathologyor Audiology granted by ASHA Minimum of six months speech therapist/ speech language pathologist experience working with an adult andgeriatric population Current and unrestricted Speech LanguagePathologist license in the state where services are renderedCurrent CPR certification Strong organizational and communicationskills Through a history of successful joint-venture partnershipsand management agreements, Lifepoint Rehabilitation works withhospitals to more effectively meet the needs of their patients,maintain employee satisfaction and generate long-term qualityoutcomes for their entire organization.
