Contract An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This position is designed for the upcoming school year and offers the chance to support students in need of speech-language services.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active or pending Vermont SLP license; ability to apply for one
ASHA certification is a plus, though clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, treatment, and documentation processes
Location:
Windsor, VT Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students.
Manage a K-12 caseload of approximately 50 students, ensuring each receives appropriate services.
Collaborate with educational staff and parents to develop and implement IEPs.
Maintain accurate documentation of services delivered and student progress.
Engage in both direct and indirect services as part of your guaranteed hours.
