Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides services to adult and/or pediatric populations with speech, language, cognitive, communication, developmental, and voice disorders. Responsibilities:

Awareness and response to various stimuli, environments, and daily tasks.
Comprehension of verbal, non-verbal, and written language, symbols, gestures, and/or communication contexts.
Ability to express needs, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and opinions through verbal and/or non-verbal methods.
Problem-solving, orientation, memory, attention, planning, and organization.
Specialized equipment such as augmentative devices, speaking valves, and/or auditory/visual aids.
Oral and pharyngeal muscle strength, activity tolerance, tone, and coordination.
Swallow maneuvers and techniques.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.

Requirements:
