Job Description
Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting. This part-time position focuses on supporting students from 1st to 7th grade, addressing a variety of speech and language needs within a manageable caseload of 16.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings Familiarity with speech and language assessments and treatment plans Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
Location:
Brick, NJ Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support
