Job Description
Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or Clinical Fellow) For the 2025-2026 School Year Are you a skilled communicator who believes every student deserves a voice? We’re looking for a committed and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or Clinical Fellow) to join our team in supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. We serve a diverse student population, including those with significant behavioral needs, and we’re seeking someone who thrives in a team-driven, student-centered environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide speech and language therapy to students with a broad range of communication needs, including those with intensive behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to develop and implement meaningful IEPs. Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
What We’re Looking For:
For SLPs:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required For Clinical Fellows (CFs): Strong foundational training and a willingness to learn Excellent communication skills and a desire to be part of a team
