Job Description:
Blazing Journey, LLC is seeking licensed and credentialed Early Intervention (EI) Evaluators to join our growing team. We provide high-quality multidisciplinary evaluations for children ages birth to three throughout NYC. We are actively hiring both bilingual and monolingual evaluators in the following disciplines: Speech-Language Pathology Occupational Therapy (OT) Physical Therapy (PT) Special Instruction (SI•certified special educators) Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) Psychology (Licensed Psychologist)
Responsibilities:
Conduct multidisciplinary evaluations (MDEs) in accordance with NYS Early Intervention Program standards Evaluate children in home, daycare, community settings, or remotely via HIPAA-compliant platforms (Zoom or Google Meet) Collaborate with families and service coordinators to develop meaningful, functional outcomes Submit accurate and timely evaluation reports Ensure evaluations are culturally and linguistically appropriate Follow NYC DOHMH and NYS DOH Early Intervention guidelines
Qualifications:
Active NY State license or certification in your discipline (required) EI credentialed with NYS DOH (preferred; support provided for eligible candidates) Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Bengali, or other languages (preferred) Familiarity with Early Intervention policies and best practices Excellent communication, observational, and writing skills
