Full-Time Caseload:
Students ages 5-22, Grades K-12
Setting:
Two-building private school across from each other
Programs Supported:
RAAVE (Autism-focused support) MOVE (Motor & communication needs) MAAVE (Combined support needs)
AAC Modalities Used:
PECS, voice output, and eye gaze devices
Feeding/Dining Needs:
Includes dysphagia care and desensitization protocols
Support Team:
PT, OT, SLPs, Behaviorists, Counselors, Nurses, APE, and more
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current NY SLP license and TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with AAC, autism spectrum, and/or medically complex students a plus School or pediatric experience strongly preferred Benefits of Working with
