Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This position is based in Owego, NY, and involves working with students who have a range of mild to severe speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Experience with teletherapy practices Proficient in the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices Strong background in working with nonverbal students Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams New graduates with clinical fellowships (CFY) are encouraged to apply

Dryden, NY Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes Deliver services in both in-person and potentially through teletherapy platforms
