Position Overview:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treatingresidents with communication, cognitive-communication, andswallowing disorders. The ideal candidate is a compassionate,detail-oriented professional who thrives in a multidisciplinarysetting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assessment & Evaluation:
- Conductcomprehensive evaluations of patients’ communication, language, andswallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualizedtreatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Treatment &Therapy:
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to improve orrestore communication and swallowing functions.
- Monitor anddocument patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with aninterdisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists,and physicians to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate staff,patients, and families on strategies to support communication andswallowing rehabilitation.

Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintainaccurate records in accordance with facility policies andregulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to state and federalguidelines for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree inSpeech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Currentstate licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA ispreferred.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility,rehabilitation center, or related healthcare setting is highlydesirable.
