Job Description
Speech Language Pathologist/SLP Sunset Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center 3298 Ridge Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 We are seeking a Part-time Speech Language Therapist to join our in-house rehab team at Sunset Ridge Health and Rehab! The Speech Language Therapist (SLP) will diagnose, plan, and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers Measures & records patient’s communicative, cognitive, and swallowing functions Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary Codes in formation for billing purposes; performs daily billing Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
Skills:
SNF/Long term care experience preferred Current knowledge of treatment practices Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Pathologist Qualifications:
