Speech Therapist (PRN) 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465 Manatawny Manor is now hiring a PRN Speech Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to our patients. The Speech Therapist is responsible for organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. Located at 30 Old Schuylkill Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465, just 20 minutes from King of Prussia!
Responsibilities:
Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty Determine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests Identify, create, and carry out an individualized treatment plan Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices Work with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program. Current PA State Speech Therapy License. Experience in Assisted Living settings preferred. Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Minimum of one-year experience in an acute care facility, outpatient setting, community health service or Home Health agency in the past two years as a Speech Therapist preferred.
