Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on providing comprehensive communication assessments and tailored therapeutic interventions to facilitate student success.

Barnwell, SC Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to assess students’ speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student care.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP). Experience in speech therapy within pediatric settings, preferably in schools. Familiarity with IEP development and implementation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
