Position Speech/Language Pathologist- Pediatric Rehabilitation Location Beaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Days Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Description The Professional Speech-Language Pathologist is essential to the function of the Rehabilitation Services by providing speech-language pathology therapy services to populations that range from neo-nate to geriatric populations. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to service line process improvement projects, and conducts work activities according to departmental policy and procedure. The scope of these activities is defined by the rehabilitation services processes which successfully integrate the organizational mission, vision, and values. The Speech-Language Pathologist acts as an interdisciplinary team member in the provision of services.
Position Requirements Education:
Ability to obtain a South Carolina license.
Experience:
No experience required; however 1-2 years of applicable clinical experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from teh American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
