Job Summary ACI Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves working with patients, particularly children, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and early intervention, with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills in patients. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals. Provide therapy sessions focusing on improving speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate families on strategies to support their child’s communication development at home. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience working in pediatrics or school settings is preferred. Knowledge of early intervention strategies and patient assessment techniques is essential. Familiarity with physiology and anatomy related to speech production is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams are crucial for success in this role.
